I love doing t-shirt designs, especially for family and friends. Each family has their own story, their own history, and I try to capture that in each design I create to capture what makes that family unique. The Joost’s, my mom’s family, grew up on a dairy farm. Between the dairy farm itself and the house they built years later, there was so much history and unique architecture it was hard to choose just one idea for a design.

In the end, the family chose the one featured in the picture above. The rest of the designs found their way into a family album after the reunion to keep as a memento.
