Alaska always has been and always will be home. A number of years ago I had the opportunity of doing another family reunion t-shirt. I got a little carried away and also designed a collage of various things Alaskan. We had this collage signed by everyone in the family. I was proud to show off all my artwork to the family and I smile whenever I see family still wearing the t-shirts. That, to me, is a sign of success. You never want to design a t-shirt that is never worn again by the recipient. So when I see family wearing it as their day-to-day shirt (not even a gym or paint shirt, guys, like really wearing it) it makes me smile.
Below is the immediate family wearing the t-shirts for the reunion. As is the theme of my designs, the image I chose tells a deeper story about my family. My grandparent’s own the quonset hut featured as the main image. They used to go there each summer and stay while hunting moose.
YOu’ll notice that my brother is missing from the below photo. He was serving a mission in Germany at the time so we . . . added him in. 🙂
