A few years back, I had an amazing opportunity to work on a video for Intel. It was a quick-turn project, start to finish in two weeks, but the end product was worth it. The video is about an Intel employee racing for his life (literally) to accelerate genomic sequencing using technology.
I coordinated logistics with the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), with Intel stakeholders and talent, with our production crew and with our director. I was on-site during the shoot to make sure clients and talent were happy and to ensure we were abiding by HIPPA compliances while shooting footage at the hospital.
The video was well received and won an Intel Division Recognition Award. Bryce Olson, the star of the video, is still alive and well and has dedicated a lot of his life to continuing bioscience and technology research. He also plays a mean guitar. 🙂
